Elderly man struck by Mercedes in Vaughan sent to hospital: police

An elderly man was taken to hospital after being hit by a Mercedes in Vaughan during the Nov. 6 evening rush hour, York Regional Police Const. Andy Pattenden said. The man was walking in the area of Rutherford Road and Julliard Drive, west of Jane Street, when he was struck at about 6:40 p.m. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
